Buying a condo is a smart investment. Ask yourself the following questions before you purchase one!
1. What is the age of the building?
2. Is the building air-conditioned?
3. Is there a parking space included in the purchase price?
4. Is there a guest parking?
5. What sort of security system is in place? Is it 24 hrs?
6. Is the use of recreational facilities included in the purchase price, or monthly fees?
7. What fixtures and features are included in the purchase price?
8. Are there rental or lease restrictions on the unit?
9. Are pets allowed, and if so what kinds and sizes of animals are permitted and how many per unit?
10. What sorts of renovations are permitted?
11. What is the monthly maintenance fee?
12. To what extent does the condo association's insurance cover you?
13. Has the condo association had any legal issues?
